We know that you are so excited about coming to our place. Because we don't keep pets at our home, we seem to be able to attract lots of natural wildlife. It's not uncommon to see turkeys, deer, raccoon, and all sorts of interesting and beautiful birds year round. At night listen for owls and coyotes (heard but very rarely seen). For the last several years we have had a den of foxes raise their young on our land. Every spring we have nesting robins, phoebes, and wrens in houses or platforms we provide. In colder weather we keep the bird feeders full. Over the years we have been clearing brush and making forest trails. There are many wildflowers, some rare and endangered that are reappearing due to our land restoration efforts. So, bring your binoculars, cameras, bird books and flower field guides. Following are more photos of our home and gardens that we hope add to your pleasant anticipation.
